"Keeping our neighborhoods and streets safe is a top priority for me. Everyone should feel safe in our community, no matter where they live." - Democrat Tim Grayson
Before I was elected to the Assembly, I led serious efforts to serve victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. I co-founded the Family Justice Center, an organization committed to providing access to treatment, transitional services and care for victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Now, I'm standing behind organizations like these to ensure victims of domestic violence can get help when they need it.
I have worked to ensure our local police and firefighters have the resources they need and are working effectively, with respect for all communities. I passed a law to provide mental health resources to brave firefighters and first responders who might otherwise suffer in silence. I remain deeply concerned about the impact that wildfires have had on our communities and will continue to support our first responders.
